1 Bell forming pallets, cleaned ready to be placed in pipe jacket (mould)
2 Inside 'core' of machine which forms the inside dimension of the pipe
3 Jacket, bell pallet and reinforcement cage being taken to machine with overhead crane
4 Mould assembly being started over core
5 Jacket assembly lowered over core
6 Concrete poured in jacket assembly using automated feeder
7 Checking for level of concrete in form
8 Header press with profile ring to form spigot
9 Press moving over machine automatically
10 Press lowering into jacket assembly
11 Press oscillating approx. 180 degrees to force profile ring into concrete
12 Spigot formed, press now lifting out of jacket assembly
13 Connecting lifting device to jacket assembly
14 Lifting jacket assembly with freshly made pipe off of core
15 New pipe and jacket assembly clearing core and machine frame.
16 Jacket assemble and pipe set in kiln area, air activated pallet retainers released
17 Freshly moulded pipe 'stripped' minutes after pouring cycle.
18 Pipe now free standing as jacket lifted off.
19 Quality concrete pipe, one of 40 during this shift
20 Labelling of pipe per ASTM requirments.
