As part of the restructuring of the Langley Concrete Group of Companies, Precon Products (1989) Ltd. has ceased operations at the Abbotsford location. The Chilliwack Super Plant will now produce the products that were manufactured at Precon. This move was necessary to implement the restructuring which requires manufacturing operations be managed at low-cost while increasing efficiency. Products purchased previously in Abbotsford can be obtained at the new facility in Chilliwack where sales staff are available for phone and counter orders, please call 604-533-1656 or 1-800-667-9600.
The Langley yard will continue to serve the industry from the 20142 Logan Avenue properties and will continue to do so for the next few years at least, providing quantities for pick-up by customers and to serve as a distribution point for larger jobs. Sales staff and administration staff are located at the Langley yard.

A busy building market, road works packages, olympic build up and other factors have created the 'Perfect Storm' for pre-cast concrete in 2005 and as a result the Langley Concrete Group saw never before volumes of product being produced. 2006 has begun just as busy as 2005, sales volumes are at record levels and productivity continues to increase to meet the demands. Already in production, the Chilliwack Facility will begin producing more and more product lines in the first and second quarter of 2006 and should be fully operational in the late 2nd quarter. When at 100% operations, the Chilliwack Facility will out-produce the former Pre-Con Products(1989) Ltd. and Langley Concrete & Tile Ltd. plants combined! The Langley Concrete Group of companies will continue to provide pre-cast solutions for use in the civil underground industry of the Pacific Northwest and beyond! |
Effective February, 1st the new Price List has been released and sent to customers on file. Product pricing has increased due to inflationary pressures from suppliers to the Langley Concrete Group of Companies.
